Alas Zerbino is wonderful writer, and she has done Bookstacks a great honor by profiling us on her blog. I hope we continue to live up to her praise.

I’m going to be traveling on June 27, the date I originally planned to discuss Pride and Prejudice and Zombies in the Paranormal book group. The following weekend is the 4th of July, a big holiday for us in the U.S. So, I’m pushing back the discussion until July 11.
If you haven’t started reading the book yet, you still have plenty of time.
Simeon and I are taking the weekend off. We have some projects we want to work on, such as preparations for the Bootleggers Ball on June 20, and we want to check out some of the other events offered around SL. Not to mention it is healthy to have an occasional weekend off.
Serene and Leo will still be hosting the Poetry Libre Open Mic on Sunday, but there will not be an Book Trivia, book discussions or author readings.
Today on Off the Shelf, Simeon and I will be chatting with Melissa Mayhue, Elaine Levine, and Tiffany James. I came across these writers, along with several others, working on book pitches. I was intrigued, and they were so welcoming, I knew I had to invite them onto the show.
We love having an audience for the show, so you are more than welcome to come to the taping. After the show, members of the audience are welcome to ask the writers questions. (slurl to studio)
