Floating above Bookstacks Isle is Celestial Jazz, a little club inspired by the speakeasies of 1920s. It is about to become the favorite location for live music fans. We open with indie musician Manx Wharton on Thursday at 7 pm SLT/PST. He has been working on a lot of new music, which we hope to hear! Manx will make a regular appearance at Celestial Jazz every other Thursday evening at 7.
Equally but differently eclectic, guitarist and songwriter Mykal Skall will be playing Celestial Jazz on Friday night at 7 pm SLT/PST. Mykal’s work has been compared to such varied artists as Lou Reed, the Cure, Elvis Costello, Wilco, Leonard Cohen, and even Depeche Mode and Johnny Cash. He will perform at Celestial Jazz every other Friday at 7.
